hello :D
i was so blessed by the breakaway camp!
espcially during the sermon by pst Aries and morning devotion.
i just feel so renewed and strengthen by the word from jo!

and before this camp i was thinking
"breakaway! and breakthrough shall come forth!"
however, when your going to 'breakaway', it's not going to be easy doing it alone.
that is why i was so encouraged when pst Aries was sharing his word.

1. we must be willing to take risk
2. and when we want breakthrough, problems will arise
3. and for us all to go to the next level, we really need compassion!

and when opptunities actually come, sometimes it hard to notice.
that is why we need to be sensitive to God every single day of our lives!

let us all stay strong as a cg, united.
lets us all step into each other's world.
all it takes is you telling yourself that i want to do it and do it out!
it's that simple :D
of course it requires work too; after all, love=scarifice.
that's why Jesus died on the cross 2000 years ago.

HEY guys :)

Just want to take some time to blog ! (Time flies, its 1.04am now!)

I must say its been a really eventful week, and the sermon Pastor Tan shared last week was AWESOME!. Making a difference..being star throwers..

The one thing that struck me was when Pastor Tan preached about how all of us are battling against principalities and powers. The bible says in Eph 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

In waging spiritual warfare, we must remember that we war against Satan and his demons, and not against flesh and blood - that is, not against other people. Not only is our war not with the people around us, it is also not with our own selves. Probably the greatest war we wage is one we wage with ourselves about ourselves, struggling with where we are spiritually compared to where we see we need to be. We may struggle with thinking that we need to have accomplished more in life than we have; we may feel like a financial failure or many other things. but one thing is a fact: We won't change anything by being frustrated and struggling. Remember, only God can fight our battles and win. When we see someone difficult to reach out to, pray for him, pray against the principalities and powers behind the person!

Lets really make it our vision to spread the love of God. Take time to be in His Presence, enjoy Him, worship Him..and as we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him!

Personally, I've gone through so many trials, tribulations, and my fair share of discouragements. But as I enter into His Presence and worship Him for who He is, for His beauty, holiness, goodness, He lifts my burdens, He speaks into my heart, and His precious Presence surrounds me and drives away every fear..God is always faithful. =) Truly, He's always with us, whether we feel it or not, He's right there..closer to us than our very breath.

A&B is coming up once again..lets really give our BEST to God!! Lets really sow into building God a house that is exceedingly magnificent, famous, and glorious thoughout all countries, and make preparations for it! [2Chr 22:5] God is worthy of our love and adoration, and nothing blesses His heart more than when He sees our genuine love and sacrifice for Him..and He will doubtlessly bless us back many times more! God's Word is true, as we sacrifice and give to Him, He multiplies blessings back to us!

hello! hahs. you know God just works so wonderously=)

while praying, i asked God if i could hear him. to tell the truth, sometimes i wonder if its my voice or God's voice or some random voice in my head. so i'll always ask for some confirmation. Like "God if you can hear me.. say ..hmm.. yes?" hahs. But now i know, when you hear God its hard to explain but you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know when He speaks. amazing! :D and He said: " you already know that I love you. The Holy Spirit that i have placed in you helps you to talk to me. I am always here. "

and i asked if the Holy spirit could teach me how to pray again. and he gave me this.
Matt 6:6 "but, you, when you pray, go into your room and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly"

and He showed me a frog and warned me. i was confused then. but now i know, frogs are:

1. Frogs are most noticeable by their call, which can be widely heard during the night or day, mainly in their mating season.
2. Their feet allows the frog to grip smooth surfaces, and does not function when the pads are excessively wet.
3. All toads have large poison glands
4. life cycle: egg -> tadpole -> frog

this means that:

• you'll able to 'hear' temptations especially during your busy moments (and have forgotten all abt God!)
• sin is able to grab you smoothly but it cannot do so when you know what's right and your thristy for God's righteous.
• sin is poisonous!
• when the frog(sin) is at 'egg' stage, sin is actually quite smart even when it so young! do you know that the eggs of some frogs laid out of water can detect vibrations of nearby predatory wasps or snakes(people trying to interfere to help you from your sin) , and will hatch early to avoid being eaten.
• when it is at a tadpole stage, they have this 'tail' to swim around. Tadpoles are highly vulnerable to predation by fish, predatory diving beetles. the 'tail'(sin) makes it noticable and can be stopped by your will (and God's help and sometimes the help of frens)
• when the frog becomes a full-grown frog, it undergoes a lot of changes. they'll no longer have their tail and sin have already become a part of us. it's harder to spot it too.

however, we all know that we have a sin-detector (God) to help us! And his grace is sufficient for us and He loves us nevertheless! so dont let sin grab you today! :D sooooo.. take the first steps to recognise them and dont let it dwell in you because it will become bigger and it's harder to spot. small sins and big sins are the same. they are still sin. let's all be strike to be pure and holy towards God. and hate what God hates. -sin!

recently i am reading this book called
"the power of positive thinking"
and i thought that i might share some very good contents of it:D

of course, everyone know that being a positive thinker is all so fabulous.
but, do you live on those "positive thining" everyday?
i mean its so easy to get easily distracted and then
you have negative thinking pouring from yourself and the world.
so the first thing that you should do is to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF :D!
without confidence in yourself, then you cannot be successful.
so dont think that your not as good as another person!
have faith in yourself, because God placed many talents for you to dig out!
so elimate self doubt!

"in all these things we are more than conquerors thru Him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor future, nor any powers,neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"-romans8:37-39

"our confience in Christ doesnt make us lazy, negligent or careless. On the contrary, it awakens us, urges us on, and make us active in living righteous lives. there is no self-confidence to compare with this" -Ulrich Zwingle

acquiring a dynamic faith (in God and yourself) requires Practice too!
so start with the basics:praying and reading the bible.

"attitudes are more important than facts" -Dr. Karl Menninger

so whatever difficult situation your in, is not as important as your attitude towards the fact(or situation)
how you think abt a fact may defeat you before you ever do anything abt it!
so with the help of God and believing in yourself will lead you to victory:)
just imagine "what will God do in my situation?"
and seek God for answers too!

W253 is a new cg where ppl from different background come together as one. I wanna encourage everyone to love one another.Building a cg that is united,fun-loving people.BUT most importantly,WE"LL BE A CG FULL OF YOUTH WHO ARE EVER ON FIRE FOR CHRIST yup?like the fellowship says ''we're a family that loves love loves,love for one another and care,thru sunshine or rain,we'll love jus the same.'' YES! let's spread the Love of God even to our friends and see our Cg experience Revival.

Even though we may be young,but the bible says 'Do not depise the youth,'who are the youth? is U W253!!All the way from 11yrs old to 18yrs old,WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!!with men is impossible but WITH GOD everything is possible. C'mon youth!WE CAN! yes we can.let's stay as one,and during time of fellowship,get to know one another better,thus friendship and relationship is being build yea?
