HEY guys :)
Just want to take some time to blog ! (Time flies, its
1.04am now!)
I must say its been a really eventful week, and the sermon Pastor Tan shared last week was
AWESOME!. Making a difference..being star throwers..
The one thing that struck me was when Pastor Tan preached about how all of us are battling against
principalities and powers. The bible says in Eph 6:12,
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."In waging spiritual warfare, we must remember that we war against Satan and his demons, and not against flesh and blood - that is, not against other people. Not only is our war not with the people around us, it is also not with our own selves. Probably the greatest war we wage is one we wage with ourselves about ourselves, struggling with where we are spiritually compared to where we see we need to be. We may struggle with thinking that we need to have accomplished more in life than we have; we may feel like a financial failure or many other things. but one thing is a fact: We won't change anything by being frustrated and struggling.
Remember, only God can fight our battles and win. When we see someone difficult to reach out to, pray for him, pray against the principalities and powers behind the person!
Lets really make it our vision to
spread the love of God. Take time to be in His Presence, enjoy Him, worship Him..and as we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him!
Personally, I've gone through so many trials, tribulations, and my fair share of discouragements. But as I enter into His Presence and worship Him for who He is, for His beauty, holiness, goodness, He lifts my burdens, He speaks into my heart, and His precious Presence surrounds me and drives away every fear..God is
always faithful. =) Truly, He's always with us, whether we feel it or not, He's right there..closer to us than our very breath.
A&B is coming up once again..lets really
give our BEST to God!! Lets really sow into building God a house that is exceedingly magnificent, famous, and glorious thoughout all countries, and make preparations for it! [2Chr 22:5] God is worthy of our love and adoration, and nothing blesses His heart more than when He sees our genuine love and sacrifice for Him..and He will doubtlessly bless us back many times more! God's Word is true, as we sacrifice and give to Him, He multiplies blessings back to us!
